This cookbook is having more than 550 recipes from around the world. Think of a famous dish and chances are that it will be in here.This book is written by Robert Carrier who is not only a famed chef, but a television personality. He died in 2006 but his book remained in print for years and is still for sale.
His heart really belonged to France but there are a lot of recipes from China, India, the Middle East and Caribbean in it.
Some of the famous recipes are Russian blinis with caviar or smoked salmon, congee, Salade Niçois, Caesar salad, paella, fish soup with rouille, Spaghetti Bolognese, Jansson’s potatoes, fresh cod in beer batter, Moroccan lamb tagine, Tarte Tatin and etc.
